OUR STORY

For TruthSpot, it all started at this defining moment.

When our founder, Yana Bijoor, saw her grandfather lose $20,000 to an AI-generated phone scam, she realized just how easily technology could be used to deceive, and how few tools existed to help families protect themselves.

What began as a business plan project became a movement. In 2025, Yana launched TruthSpot, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, on a mission to empower kids with the skills to spot truth in the digital age. Today, TruthSpot engages students in developing AI literacy through interactive “Spot-the-Fake” games, real-time detection tools, and classroom-ready learning modules that make critical thinking fun and empowering.

At TruthSpot, we believe understanding technology is the new form of safety. By making AI education play, we're preparing the next generation to ask better questions, verify what they see, and think before they trust.

Because the truth still matters, and learning to spot it should start early.
